MIFAR S.r.l. - part of the British Tennants Consolidated Ltd. since 1999 – is appreciated for its tailor-made service, cost-effective quality, reliability and response.
The MIFAR production plant, located in Rescaldina near Milan in Italy, where the company moved in mid-2008, is the most recent pigmented chips plant in Europe. An industrial area of 10.000sqm provides production capacities for over 1.500 tons per annum in compliance with HSE legislations and BAT installations.
MIFAR and TENNANTS’ goal is to continue focusing and investing in the core business of pigmented chips and therefore we decided to strike a new path.
MIFAR S.r.l. and HAGEDORN-NC GmbH - one of the leading manufacturers of industrial Nitrocellulose (HACOCELL, HACOPLAST) and high-quality pigment preparations (HACOLOR) - have established a cooperation in the business area of pigment preparations.
The emerging cooperation of both companies has immediate effects and leads to a concentration of resources and therefore will improve production capacities. For that reason, the pigment preparation facilities of HAGEDORN-NC GmbH will be transferred from Osnabrück to Rescaldina, near Milan. Furthermore previously unemployed technology potential becomes accessible due to the concentration of research and development know-how.
Beginning on July 1st, 2010 the transfer will presumably be completed on Sept. 30th, 2010. We thank HAGEDORN-NC GmbH for the trust in our company and we will ensure our best endeavour during this process to ensure a smooth course of action.

MIFAR is a leading European manufacturer of high quality pigment preparations offering a simple solution for the production of a wide range of inks and coatings.

Our core business is to offer cost-effective, quality pigment dispersions in granule and powder form, in various resin media, to give outstanding formulation and production flexibility and excellent performance in formulating inks and coatings.

Dispersions and colours can be supplied either from standard ranges, or through development and application testing, also in liquid form, as bespoke products, designed for individual customers.
